MERS 관련 글
All,
Over the last few weeks, there has been considerable media attention and growing concern about the spreading of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) in South Korea. It is prudent for Artesyn as well as other international companies to be prepared for the spread of this virus and to take reasonable steps to help contain the virus, minimize any possible disruption to our business, and certainly to protect the health and well-being of all of our employees.
With immediate effect, the following travel mandate is in place:
1. Until further notice business travel to South Korea is discontinued and we recommend the same for personal travel.
2. Also until further notice our South Korean employees should not travel out of South Korea
If you have important and urgent needs contrary to the above, please contact your local HR head for advice.
3. Employees that have visited South Korea within the last 14 Days shall not enter any of our facilities until 14 days has passed since they exited South Korea and they exhibit no symptoms. Those employees should advise their local HR head and work from home until advised that they can return to work.
If you have respiratory symptoms, please consult a doctor immediately. We will closely monitor the status of MERS and keep you appraised of the situation.
Thanks
John Hardy
